REVIEW: Broken Knight (All Saints High #2) by LJ Shen

Not all love stories are written the same way. Ours had torn chapters, missing paragraphs, and a bittersweet ending.

Luna Rexroth is everyone’s favorite wallflower.

Sweet.
Caring.
Charitable.
Quiet.
Fake.
Underneath the meek, tomboy exterior everyone loves (yet pities) is a girl who knows exactly what, and who, she wants—namely, the boy from the treehouse who taught her how to curse in sign language.
Who taught her how to laugh.
To live.
To love.
Knight Cole is everyone’s favorite football hero.
Gorgeous.
Athletic.
Rugged.
Popular.
Liar.

This daredevil hell-raiser could knock you up with his gaze alone, but he only has eyes for the girl across the street: Luna.

But Luna is not who she used to be. She doesn’t need his protection anymore.
When life throws a curveball at All Saints’ golden boy, he’s forced to realize not all knights are heroes.

Sometimes, the greatest love stories flourish in tragedy.

Wow. Just wow. Where does someone even begin with writing a review for a book as gripping and moving as this? It completely took over my life once I started it. The outside world ceased to exist until I finished the book. It made me smile, it made me smirk, it made me cry, it made me laugh...then it made me sob, it broke my heart...it brought me through every single emotion the human body can possibly feel. I didn’t just read the book, I FELT everything in this book.

Every stolen glance. Every heart shattering betrayal. Every kiss. Every goodbye.

Trust me when I say you will not be able to get through this book without crying. So go in prepared with tissues, tissues, and more tissues!

The characters in this book were just phenomenal. I loved the relationships between all of them. Just everything!

The love story of Knight and Luna will stay with me for the rest of my life, that’s how powerful this book is. LJ Shen has truly outdone herself with this one and I seriously can’t wait to see what’s coming next for us! Bravo! You deserve all the praise in the world!!

*I received an ARC and this is my honest review.*
